The new RE Event App is an amazingly helpful tool. However, when an unexpected guest arrives at the event and you click to add the new participant, this automatically creates a new *Constituent* record in Raiser's Edge... not something I want all my registration staff doing! It would be very helpful if the new record were simply a participant record in the Event (or if there were a choice here for either option), and we could then later decide whether the person needs a constituent record or not.
