Make sending email from constituent records in Raiser's Edge possible without going through Outlook.

It's very cumbersome to send an email from a constituent record in Raiser's Edge. It has to go through Outlook. I'd like to see it access Goggle apps (Gmail). Our entire organization uses it. Also, Raiser's Edge NXT doesn't currently have the ability to send email from a constituent record at all. Since this is still in the process of being developed, it would be great to have the capability there, too. Fundraisers using a mobile device shouldn't have to attempt to send through Outlook.

    Hear, hear!  In this day and age, it should be a no-brainer to allow setting RE (including hosted) to email using your default mail app, including Gmail, rather than be stuck with Outlook.  Our organization uses Gmail and Google apps, and this would be a huge boon.
