We don't always have the date of death for a constituent when they are marked deceased and I don't want to "work around" it by just entering the date that we were notified.
I'd like to be able to query how many people over the year we've marked deceased so we can see how many people we've lost.
This would really be helpful.
I agree! If the "Deceased" field had a time-stamp associated with it, then we could query on that time-stamp.
We want to run reports on when the field was populated, NOT when the person actually died. Thanks!
Could you use the end date on the constituent code for this? It can be automatically populated with the date the record is marked as deceased.
