Someone who is giving monthly is already giving recurring gifts. Candidates for recurring gifts are those who give more then once a year but NOT monthly.
I was just getting back to this to see if there had been any activity on this. Before RE, we had eTap and we could run a simple report to see who had given a gift for the last 3 months, or 6 months, or 3 out of the last 6 months. Then we could send them an invitation to join our monthly giving program. Unless they "self declare", we can't assume that they are going to continue giving, so we are trying to be proactive. The only way to identify these folks in RE is manually by changing the dates of your query each month. (unless you know of a better way!) :)
Michelle - you can change your query to an "ask" query so you have to always fill in the dates you need. Otherwise, ya, there has been no activity on this.
Jenn & team - this one change would make my life SO MUCH easier. We have a lot of dynamic queries with business rules attached, which tell us, for example, who our current major donors are. If the query could be written to find "donors with $1000 in the last 12 months" for example, we wouldn't have to update the date criteria each month. Thanks for reviewing this!
This would be really helpful for all our donor reps as they try to track the activity of donors over a period of time before contacting them. We have a number of people who would like this option.
Still needed!
how is this different from querying on consecutive years?
Melissa - we want to see consecutive months, not years.
