Prospect Status Aging Report

Added on behalf of a customer: Having the ability to track and report on how long assigned prospects have been at each "stage" of the development cycle (Prospect Status) would be of enormous benefit in prospect management. We currently have no way ... other than an ineffective and cumbersome "work-around" to track this information.

    Our gift officers have goals tracking their movements from qualification into cultivation or disqualified. I had to build a work around report tracking this information using database view query and Excel. This would be so helpful, and it feels like a perfect tool for a relationship building database with an end goal being donations.

    Really would like to have this added to the list function in web view. It allows me to pull status but time stamp would be so helpful.

    I just voted for this. How many votes are needed before Blackbaud will address an issue? RE really needs to have this functionality for modern prospecting. It seems to be available in NXT, using the exact same field, but the fields history does not carry over to RE database view, which is frustrating. Please address this issue at some level, even if it's to say "We don't plan on doing anything".

    At the very least we need to be able to query on time in status. This idea was added nearly 4 years ago and has 45 votes. Please implement it.

    yes - that would be sooo much more useful that overwriting the status when it changes. Especially since the solicitation cycle repeats!

    The date alone would be helpful so you can track how long someone has been in a particular status. (30 days in solicitation)

    I agree. We are currently looking for the best way to track a prospect's status. Although Prospect Status is the most intuitive, not being able to record the date is definitely not ideal. Our only other option is the Attributes tab, which is already a bit cluttered with other information.

    Our 'work-around' is that each time a constituent moves from one status to another, the first action added for that status has an Action Type of "Moved to <>" (Cultivation, Solicitation, Closure, Stewardship, etc...) and that creates a 'date moved' for reporting purposes. It would be awesome if the status could be time-stamped. Thanks!

    I agree that a time stamping mechanism would be most helpful. In order to facilitate full fundraiser participation in a prospect managment system, it would be great if RE would have an efficient and easy way for them to enter the information- and a time stamp for the status would be ideal. Our fundraisers are actually hostile towards having a specific first action for a stage as they view it as confusing and creating extra work. Several fundraisers have asked why we can't just track how long a prospect has been in a stage based on the status information.
