We import a temporary marketing file that includes duplicates and incomplete records. We need it in our database to pull up the record when the barcode is scanned. This inflates our duplicate results. I tag these records with a constituent attribute so I can remove after each acquisition campaign. I need a way to ignore these records similar how it ignores inactive or deceased records in the duplicate management console. On the next file I might attempt to also tag this marketing file as Inactive record (Would this still allow barcode scanning using the keycodes in Raiser's Edge?).
Also, We have Tributes (memorials/Honorariums) that force us to create an INCOMPLETE constituent record (no address). Is there a way to ignore these records or adjust the duplicate criteria to not see as a duplicate? Not sure the best solution, but tributes seem to lend themselves to be more of a non-constituent relationship record like spouse. Tributes more than likely will not have gift history. Does this make sense?
Can you also think about allowing us to add constituent fields (IDs, preferred addresses, attributes, etc. to the grid view? Also the ability to sort by fields in the grid view to prioritize duplicate search results.
