globally delete attribute description

When I globally delete attribute description, the attribute category, date, and comment all remain. I would like to globally delete a description and remove the corresponding information at the same time. I do not want to globally delete the category.

      There are two ways to delete attributes and one way does this, another way does the proper thing. Contact BB customer support for the proper way to do this.

      Melissa, I think you may be referring to deleting the entire attribute off every record and from the database. Sometime I want to delete the attribute only off of some records. There is not really a neat way to do this that I know of.
