I have a Windows phone and a Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet (Android 4.2.2) but RE isn't compatible with either. I am definitely in favor of developing apps on both fronts.
Our IT Director won't let us use the app because he will not allow us to use Apple products. He is willing to let us use Android but would prefer the Microsoft surfaces. He hates Apple security see article link below.
Blackbaud - any updates on developing the mobile app for Windows devices? I realize that the market share is low in comparison to iPhone/Android, but you have long-time, loyal customers who are missing out. Our entire philanthropy and senior management team utilizes Windows phones and tablets.
Hey look it's been so long since this idea was suggested that the first comment is how it should be implemented for Windows 8, and now I can beg to have it done for Windows 10 (the RE Event Management app too, please.)
Interesting that Microsoft can be one of the presenting, diamond level sponsors for BBCON in 2015, yet Blackbaud doesn't provide apps for Microsoft products.
Our IT Team has standardized on iPhones, but I have a Windows Phone I love and use. The lack of an RE app - particularly when the Windows codebases are unified or working towards that - is a real dealbreaker. Please help me help you by porting it to the Windows Phone platform.
