Allow the ability to globally change packages

You can globally change/add/delete appeals, campaigns, funds and more.. but not packages. This function is necessary in certain situations. For instance, I just had to manually change over 50 packages because this function is not available. Please add!!!!

    I agree! I am working on this now and will have to manually change 120 gift records!! If the Campaign, Fund and Appeal IDs can be changed, it is only logical that the Package ID can be changed!

    You can do this with Import, but it's a pain, because you have to Export ALL Assigned Appeals for the Constituents in your Query, and then sort them in Excel or Access, delete what you don't want to change, make the changes, and then Import back to RE.

    This is why I use Constituent Attributes to set up mailings. Once the mailing has dropped, I will use Global Add or Import to put the Appeal Tags on the records, and then I'll use Global Change to wipe out those Attributes (and leave it ready for next time).

    You also cannot Globally Change Appeal Marketing Segment, Marketing Source Code, etc. Only Appeal, Comments, Date, Response.
