Allow Global-delete of select Packages based on query results

I am not able to globally delete Packages (under Appeals) based on a query in RE, NXT or Sky API. I need to delete about 8000 packages from one appeal. I tried Global delete, Sky API and Blackbaud Support. Support investigated and confirmed there is no way to mass-delete a select group of Packages. They advised me to post the idea here.

    I would also really like this functionality as have hundreds to delete and will have to do it manually, which will take a long time
