Sometimes, AddressAccelerator validates an address incorrectly but automatic address validation prevents the address from being manually corrected (the address will automatically revert to the validated version before the record is saved). Also, when entering addresses with "c/o ..." in the first line, AddressAccelerator will automatically move the c/o line to the last line of the address.
Turning off automatic validation will prevent both of these from happening but the benefit of automatic address formatting correction is completely lost. It would be nice if there were a way to override or reject automatic address validation in some instances without having to completely disable it.
I second this. I don't think you explained explicitly the challenge this creates for our organization, so I'll give it a shot:
When we enter and address like 175 NH Route 101, it formats to 175 Nh Route 101, creating a lowercase in a state abbreviation. I find that to be rather unprofessional. AddressAccelerator should have an "autocorrect" like library where you can override certain corrections. There are other less common examples, but the state abbreviations seem like a no brainer fix to me!
