Some of our appeals require a donor to be contacted more than once regarding the same gift. Once the first letter is sent, we can no longer use a Donor Acknowledgement Letter, since the gift will be marked as acknowledged, so have to use a Quick Letter. We then use a global change to add/update a gift attribute, to mark that the letter has been sent. Rather than this 2-stage process, it would be better if there were a mailing based on gifts which could be sent to those marked as acknowledged, with the option to add/update gift attributes as part of the mailing. Unless there is a better way to do this using the current functions?
