This is has been mentioned. I'm just going to elaborate on it.

I'm in a batch now. I want to attach a soft credit to the check donation. I go into Gift, Soft Credit and click on the Constituent Name button. The next interface is where I enter the soft credit name. If I don't have a match, I can't just create a new constituent. The Add New button is missing.

In the Open pop-up, the buttons in the right column are Open, Cancel, Expand Results, Find Now, New Search, Previous Search, Options. The Add New is in another interface, but is missing here. I'd like to add it to the interface. The code has already been written for one of the other interfaces. It needs to be copied from there and added (and tested.)
