how to find how many times a code is used in the database (e.g. phone type)

We are int he process of cleaning up our code tables in preparation for integrating RE and EE this year. Our code tables in RE have "grown" over the 25 or so years we have had Blackbaud software in our development office, with many people having input. We would like to be able to see a report on how many times a code is used in the database to help us see which would be easier to change by opening individual records and which would be easier to change globally.

    Having this in the code table report would be ideal. When having to do an extensive code cleanup for organizations that have hundreds of codes, many of which are duplicated, it would save so much time not having to do a query code by code to find out how many records exist in each. Having it in the code table report would let you see right away which code could be merged into another.
