Create a contact/call report form connected to an Action so you can file your contact/call report directly connected to your Action. This will standardize the contact/call reports filed by development staff and connect them directly to an Action. This will also help ensure contact/call reports are filed and are part of the donor/prospect's database record for future reference. The form should also be downloadable for distribution to others who might not have access to Raiser's Edge. The form should include contact name and info, date, purpose, location of contact/call, highlights of contact/call, next steps. This also aids in creating the follow-up actions.
Great idea! That would do a lot to reduce the amount of "data" that is outside of RE. That would be a big help in my organization.
