Currently, there is no way to make the Addressee/Salutation fields required on a relationship record. Which means that staff who are entering new contacts in a hurry forget to populate these fields, which leaves the database manager scrambling to clean up mailing lists at the last minute. Please give users the option to make these required fields, as they are on the Constituent record.
