We want to evaluate gift officer fundraising success related to proposals and contacts. Simply being assigned to a constituent doesn't indicate that the fundraiser actually had an active role in bringing in a gift. An option to choose whether the system automatically adds the credit *or whether the gift processor manually adds the gift credit helps will allow more opportunity in how we evaluate fundraiser activity that leads to gifts.
