Yes! We're soliciting sponsorship for an event and creating 50 proposals would be cumbersome, plus then they're not even linke to the event - so then we'd have the Event data spread between the event, the appeal, and the various proposals. It's too much.

A place for Ask Amount AND Last Amount would be helpful. I know you can calculate "last" gift from the gifts tab, but often consider not their last individual gift but the summary of all their giving in the last campaign period. Our solicitation letters say consider "ASK" amount or renew your "LAST" amount. Great to have it at a glance. I use the other fields on the tab but am restricted with non-whole dollar amounts.

I can put this in the default gift amount on the appeal or package, but it may not be the same for everyone and I don't necessarily want to create packages for every single dollar amount. I know that this could go in "comments" but I would also prefer another column to be visible on appeals tab.

This would really be useful-- could see when/how people respond to different asks. Support suggested I include this as a constituent attribute (13-14 Ask Amount), but that makes the attributes even more of a generic catch-all. This is information directly associated with an appeal, so it should be part of that process. There could be a first appeal, asking for $X (regular Annual Fund) and a different appeal that year that asks for $Y ($10 "do it now" appeal or something else). Also could see who gives what you ask, who gives up to $xx, no matter what you ask, who doesn't give when you ask for more than $X, etc. The formula of asking for $X more or X% more than the last gift or defaulting to a blanket gift amount does not work for everyone. We have new families where they have never given a gift (brand new to the school) who can give more than others, so the ask amounts need to be tailored. This is very frustrating as a recent convertee to RE.
