gift batch
Check Mark showing a gift is linked to an event and what event. We have many gifts that come in for specific events. Would be nice if the data entry person can output the registration field easily and that field shows that it has been linked and to what event. When the approver goes in to approve EACH gift - we have to open each registration to make sure that the gift is linked. If we can see it as a field in batch - this would save time during approval process.

there is a special icon at the bottom of a gift if it is linked to an event. Click on the icon and you are brought a screen to see which event it was linked to.
When entering a batch of gifts, you can go into the legend to change the color of gifts that are linked to an event. This doesn't show you what event, but it more easily identifies gifts that are linked.
It would also be helpful to see gifts that are linked to recurring gifts or pledges in batch.

You can do this using the gift batch color legend! while in batch you can go to "View" and then color legend and any time you enter a pledge, gift linked to an event, with soft credits, stock, etc. they can appear in a different color, bold or italicized. Unfortunately there is not an option for gifts linked to recurring gifts or pledges. That should be it's own suggestion - anyone want to create it? It has my vote!

Melissa - I didn't see that icon though..hmm Ill keep an eye out for it.
Nicole - go to an event where you know you have linked gifts. use the go to option to open the gift itself. You should see the same event icon used in batch -the red and yellow flaggy thing if I remember.
