Make the primary constituent code easily available by default in an export

In a constituent export, under Output> Constituent Information, there is a field titled Constituent Code. I have been told by Raiser's Edge help desk that that is a random code from the record and not specifically the primary code. Could you make it the primary constituent code?

A tick box to allow us to exclude inactive codes when exporting a Constituent Code based on the record would solve this, like you can exclude phone numbers marked do not contact. You could then export your specified code and base hierarchy on the Constituent and it should get the top one. Please add such a tick box.

I agree! I'm trying to export for the VSE and it is pulling in the constituency on top regardless of the fact it has an end date!!! Primary constituency needs to be added to the export. It is in the query side and needs to also be in the export.

Queries and reports pay attention to constituency dates when trying to find the primary constituency code. This consideration is needed equally in exports! If a constituency has ended, it should not be primary on an export even if it is on the first line on bio2. Please, Raisers Edge, add Primary Constituency to the list of available fields in Output for Exports.
