We receive with a portion designated for a specific fund and a portion in memory/honor of someone. If added as one line entry in RE batch, the gift total for the tribute is incorrect (reflecting the total given, not the amount for the tribute-this should have a $ amount to enter for the tribute.)
If entered as two seperate gifts, the amounts are correct but then you have multiple receipts/thank you letters for each constituent, which is either using more time editing receipts or wasting company letterhead.
It would be very beneficial if the gift and the tribute could be entered as one line item and be able to set the gift amout of the tribute. Also valuable when multiple tributes are given with one gift and different amounts set for each tribute.
