With the new Automated Recurring Git process, BBMS will attempt to reprocess a soft decline for a specified number of attempts. However, when a transaction is Hard Declined, the donor will need to provide updated card information in order to continue the Automated Recurring Gift. When contact with the donor is made, and new card information has been successfully updated, having the ability to process an immediate one-time transaction to make up for the failed transaction would be very convenient.
