User Settings Not Lost With Updates

I know I'm not the only user who has to spend time resetting all of my user settings that get overridden everytime RE updates or performs maintenance and it would be wonderful for user settings to not be affected by updates.

    Like Devan, I created a case in May of 2021 - and was asked to not log in to RE for two and a half business days while hosting services "restored my settings"

    I voted on this awhile back but really would just LOVE if user settings didn't revert after every update.

    Yes, I'm getting very tired of this issue. I'm currently on with support as I type this, and they said, "So with larger updates/ version changes there is not a way to retain those user settings and recently accessed records." I explained to them that this has not always been the case. This only started happening about a year to a year and a half ago.
