It is great that we can now attach a thank you letter directly to a gift.  However, in order for our administrative assistant to attach a thank you letter I must give her a security level to be able to edit gifts which gives her the power to also change gift amounts.  I think adding an attachment and changing a gift amount should be handled separately through permissions and right now there is not a way to do this.
