When our members renew more than one month before their current expiration date, RE defaults their new expiration date to end of month one year from the renewing gift date, when it should default to one year from their current expiration date.  Turning on the Membership General Business Rule "For renewals and rejoins, default 'Renewed on' date to the previous expires date, and the 'Rejoined on' date to the drop date" will make the new expiration date a year from their current expiration, but it also changes the Transaction date to their last drop or expire date (even if it's in the future) when we want it to be the linked gift date.  Can I get the best of both worlds?
