Raiser’s Edge does not support the storage of Unicode characters

If unicode was supported, then characters with accents would come out correctly. Right now, they come out as garbage.

Still not fixed and we are now in 2021. Does anyone noticed that the actions saved from Outlook have many errors ? Since we switched to Outlook 365 and use the Outlook App to save emails as actions, the emails are saved as garbage whenever accented characters are present or any spaces included in signatures, What takes Blackbaud so long to fix this issue ?
