I am a recurring donor to many organizations (Operation Smile, ACLU, NPR, Our Revolution to name a few) and I receive a thank you each month from each organization, and an end of year letter. It's a good way to steward throughout the year, but I guess it's at the discretion of the organization and the level of engagement they choose to keep with each donor. An option to not do this would be a good idea as well, in case there are others who don't want to engage with their donors each month. While adding the feature is being reviewed, we'll email thank you letters on a monthly basis to thank our supporters. Thank you for your time.

Good suggestion! This is something we're interested in providing support for as a part of the RE NXT solution. In general though, it will be left up to the organization to implement. Not all organizations want to remind their recurring donors on a monthly basis that they are giving. Sometimes its better to wait until year end and send one big acknowledgement (and receipt) to show the donor what impact they had on the mission over the course of the year.
