Allow phones to be globally marked as "Do Not Contact" (DNC) Merged

Currently, the only global option that exists with phone records and the "Do Not Contact" option is to globally un-mark records as DNC. According to Blackbaud customer support as of 11/19/2013, there is no current way to globally mark phone records as DNC.

    It's very frustrating that this isn't an option! You can globally change just about all other fields but this is something that is very needed! With the Canadian email laws change recently we need to mark everyone as DNC unless they specifically sign up for newsletters etc. When Importing large amounts of donors I then need to go back and manually open all their records to mark them as DNC! Crazy!!!!

    Agreed this is something that really needs to be added. We are starting to use BBNC for e-mail and need to add DNC information gathered in our previous e-mail system.

    This is an issue that should be resolved! With the growing need for us to check DNC before calling. Also Third Party vendors provide this information but we are unable to upload it.

    its really very unfortunate that Raiser's Edge does not support this global change!!
    and I strongly recommend that this should be fixed ASAP. as we are scanning the phone numbers against TPS database, we need to mark phone numbers as DNC for those who are registered with TPS. but without global change feature, it sounds hilarious
