Admins need to be able to configure fields to work in NXT the same way they do in the Database view.

If a field is hidden in the database it must be hidden in NXT. If it isn't then NXT users might enter values into those blackhole fields. That info will go nowhere and database view users will not have access to it. This also encourages users to break organization policy by entering off limits data (for example birthday or SSN might be hidden for security reasons). 

Same for required fields. If a user creates a record in NXT without filling in a required field another database user will later get stuck when accessing that same record from Database view. They will not be able to save that record because of missing fields. 

This is basic functionality and needs to be corrected ASAP.
