Currently if I do an export of donor giving and tell it to include pledges, it will export the pledge, which was an individual gift entry. AND the payment of the pledge, which is a separate gift entry. Therefore on a big spreadsheet giving totals are distorted because the pledge and the payments are BOTH being included in the totals and I have to go through and painstakingly remove all the pledges that have been paid. There should be an option for it to export unpaid pledges only and a further option if the pledge has been partially paid, to put that payment in a separate column so that the payment plus the full pledge amount also do not distort the totals.
