We should be able to merge memberships like we merge constituents. We use Galaxy as our ticketing system and unfortunately the link between Galaxy and RE is not perfect. So often, one constituent will end up with multiple memberships, usually one lapsed and one active because rather than a usual renewal, the system thinks it's a new membership. I wish there was an easy way to just merge the lapsed one into the new one so that we can keep their full history and avoid losing any valuable membership history.
