I believe that RE7 should have a function, after you complete a gift batch, there are 2 buttons or drop down menu (whichever works better) that auto generates the acknowledgments/receipts for donors who wish to have this sent to them snail-mail style. And another button to auto generate an e-receipt for those donors who specified to receive acknowledgments/receipts strictly to their email address. I see this being very helpful for those organizations (like my own) who have upwards of 4,000 donors who want EMAIL ONLY
I worked with a different software before moving to RE7 and this is what they had set up. Within a constituent record, you can click (next to their email address) if this person wishes to receive EMAIL ONLY. (I believe RE7 would know this with a solicit code) but rather than splitting up the donors who want regular snail-mail from email only into 2 different gift batches, Our old system knew who wanted what within the batch. So it would know to sort those EMAIL ONLY from snail-mail and everything is done and done.
