Add date field to Requests no Email

Once Requests no Email is checked, NetCommunity will not send email to the constituent. It may be outdated by years, with the constituent resubscribing and there's no way to know what is the most recent request. We may be losing out on the possibility of emailing many constituents who want to receive our communications because our checked Requests no Email is outdated and we have no way to know.

I just wanted to jump in with a recommendation. Anyone interested in this may be interested in taking advantage of a newly released feature in RE7: Consent management.

RE 7.96, Patch 8 introduced a new record type (Consent records) that are intended to capture opt-in and opt-out communication preferences in a way that captures details like Date. The result is an impact to Solicit Code assignment for Constituents, which can/should impact lists/segments (Queries) that you may build for BBNC email communications. So while its not a direct response to this idea (it doesn't add a date to the "Requests no Email" setting and doesn't interact with that setting directly), it is alternative way of perhaps accomplishing the same end goal.

For more information about Consent management in RE7 (including suggestions for use and strategy), see the documentation here: http://gdpr.docs.blackbaudhosting.com/products/re7/
