We have married couples in one record, designated as a spouse. When divorce happens, we create a new constituent for the divorced spouse. Often times actions/appeals/gifts are not clearly one or the others, so the global merge feature is not helpful. We'd like to be able to select an individual action/appeal/gift/note and transfer it to the appropriate constituent. Doing this manually can be very time consuming. Soft crediting all gifts can be helpful, but it is not always the best solution.
