Many reports from third party donation processing services (Network for Good, Crowdrise, Facebook, etc.) use the ISO 2-letter country codes. We have set up our country abbreviations to match these ISO country codes, but are unable to import countries using this abbreviation, and have to manually change each code into the country's full name before importing.

It would save as a lot of time if you allowed country abbreviations/codes to be imported, the same way that you can use Fund/Appeal IDs, etc.
