Yes, getting the Gift Batch Number included in the FE Journal Reference is critical for us. We understand this can happen, if we post in detail, or summary (cash & AR only), because then you can select a user-defined Journal Reference from Configuration, but who wants all that detail in your general ledger. We need to be able to use the user-defined Journal Reference from Configuration even if/when posting in Summary.
This idea is really a pivotal piece of information, especially during the closing process. I am quite surprised this wasn't already in place considering that we have the FE integration tool which allows us to go between the two programs for reference purposes.
In the event that an unposted batch in FE needs to be reversed in RE, the batch number from FE is our best bet of doing this in an efficient manner, versus the process one has to use now in order to make this happen.
This would be very helpful in order to unpost a batch in the event RE goes berzerk while in posting mode and posts "EVERYTHING" and you only wanted one batch to post.

I hope this gets remedied in the next release.
