In RE7 where constituents have multi line addresses, especially those in retirement villages, sometimes the DPID does not recognise the additional information required by the village administration to deliver mail.
For example - we have one address consisting of the site number and street and the generic retirement village name - but, once you add in the village sector the constituent lives in (which is required by the village administration) it reverts the record back to the basic site number and street.
There is the option to turn off DPID for all addresses, which would be counter productive to all other records - and as such even the ability to add a 'free text' line to an address would be a simple workaround to ensuring complete addresses.
