Raiser's Edge allows me to set lots of different permissions, but users uploading files for import or media upload them into an area that all other RE users can see. This exposes the files for at least a small time to users who should not necessarily have access to them. We can already create our own folders but can't set permissions on them. The RE_SEC folder is not a fully sufficient solution because the level of granularity with which I want to organize file access requires more than one insecure group and one secure group. Permissions as well-designed as NTFS go beyond what we probably need, but if we could set which users can access each folder, that would be great!
