Add business rule in RE about not soft credit to couple automatically

In our database, we have some couple with separate file don't want to soft credit automatically. Is it a way to set up business rules in  RE not to soft credit automatically if we needed.

    Uncheck the "automatically soft-credit this individual for gifts" check box on the spouse's Relationship > General 2 tab.  It's at the very bottom.
