If we want to send one letter to donors who gave a gift in a certain month, and another letter to donors who didn't give in that month, we need to be able to set a date range for the condition--using less than/less than or equal to a specific date picks up the months before the month I'm interested in; using greater than/greater than or equal to a specific date picks up the month(s) following the month I'm interested in.
