Dear BB, what is the point of having appeal attributes if you can't query on them? Why can't you query on them? Why can you query on appeal package attributes? This is very much a Lucy and the football situation.
We are trying to group our Annual Giving appeals and just created/added the attribute to those appeals. NOW I discover that the appeal attribute it NOT an option in gift query. I'm flabbergasted.
Does BB ever look at these ideas? I added this over 6 years ago and still nothing!! It's not like it is a big deal either as we already have the ability to query on Fund Attributes in both constituent and gift queries. IS ANYONE FROM BB LISTENING?
In agreement too - you can take the information out through a gift export but you can't select on the field in a gift query - really inconsistent. Surely a quick and easy fix blackbaud!
I desperately want to be able to reference appeal attributes in summary fields (in query, export). Have had to add appeal actions instead to be able to select only certain appeals. Seems to me attributes would be more important to query on than appeal actions.

REALLY need this!!!
Agree with this!

+1 here. It's preventing us from managing appeals in a sophisticated manner and seems to be a rather glaring oversight.
We should have the ability to query on appeal attribute in a gift query!
+1 from me. Entering lists of individual Appeal Codes into a query is tedious and leads to inaccurate reporting when you miss codes.
Any progress on this BlackBaud??? Very frustrated I can't do this already.
