Make description required when you make an attribute required.

Currently if you make an attribute required you make only the category required but you do not actually have to fill in a description. I need the description to be required. To have an attribute of Constituent Source required and have the category filled in but not the description is useless.

    I fully agree with this. Until this is brought in, I have begun running an audit on attributes where the description is blank. If done regularly, it can be a manageable enough task to go through them, refer to the relevant RE user and ask them to complete it. This also acts as a gentle reminder to  users of how important this field is!

    I don't know how other people are using attributes, but for us an attribute without a description is completely meaningless. We use attributes to create fields that RE doesn't have. The description is the field value. No description is equal to an empty field.
    There should also be an option of requiring a description for every attribute that is added to a record.
