Spouse records need to share information better. They should automatically soft credit each other for gifts, but the YTD giving field (used in mail module) should calculate the total hard giving for the Household (excluding soft credit gifts). This way I don't have to do an export to add up the hard credit gifts in order to determine how much a household has given. Since our donors designate funds to our organization through 3rd party organizations (and are soft credited), I can't just pull in all the soft credit data into the YTD field. It makes sending year end giving summaries a huge pain.
