Option to Automatically search for spouse record who are not linked
When calling up a constituent record, have the database automatically search for last name and exact same street and city address to find spouse so you can link them. We have PEO and people are creating records for themselves all the time separately. Don't want to solicit people who are already donors but not linked.

Sounds like you just need to run your duplicate checking more regularly.

Oops, I flagged this as inappropriate but I don't mean that. At our organization, we are integrated with PEO and PE. Records are created all the time by ticket purchasers and the box office, therefore a lot of spouses who are not linked, which is a nightmare for the RE users doing mailings. Potential for soliciting current donors or mailing letters to both individuals in the home. Makes us look incompetent. If when pulling up a record, the database would automatically search for the same last name and street address that would save me a lifetime of work. I could try to keep up with spouses who are not linked.

Anne - can you see Jenn Mercer's note above about the functionality that exists today. You should be running the duplicate report regularly and finding these. In addition when adding the record or syncing between RE and PEO/PE - does it not run the duplicate check?
