We use both Luminate Online and Raiser's Edge. In Luminate's query functionality, you can query on different actions based upon on a dynamic relative date range -- e.g. system record creation falls on or after 10 days prior to today, last transaction date equals 3 days prior to today, etc. This allows for very refined querying that supports smarter interaction with our constituents.
In Raiser's Edge, however, the same query functionality is more blunt, less refined. Can only query by relative date ranges like "Yesterday", "This Week", "Last Week", "Last Calendar Year", etc. If I wanted to find a constituent who gave offline 3, 5, or 14 days ago (for triggered next action steps), there is no way to do so. It also gets tricky at the end of one month and beginning of another.
Since the functionality is there in Luminate Online, and RELO is supposed to facilitate seamless communication between the two systems, it would be great if Raiser's Edge featured the same date range query capabilities.
