We have several records that have the same address but cannot be combined because of their relationships with our organization. I want to have their add/sal be combined and I don't want to have duplicate mailings going to the same household. Can't make one a spouse because we will lose all information pertinent to that record regarding giving and constituent codes, etc.
Spouses can each have their own record. It maybe time to re-evaluate if you have a policy not allowing that. Records are linked as spouses, one is HOH. Takes care of mailing issue. You don't have to combine them.
Or you make an add/sal editable and enter both names. Not what I'd recommend though
