Load Defaults from

"load defaults from" . The lists should have a sort key for ascending or descending order and/or up and down arrow to move them into groups

    I would LOVE to see this!  I waste time trying to find the default I want, and it makes it difficult to train new gift entry staff to use them when they have to look all over the place for them.

    Which 'load defaults from' option are you referring to?

    I agree. Load Defaults are in the order that you place them. Not alpha order ect. I have had to start over several times so our data entry people dont have to strife!

    Via the Constituents menu bar 'load defaults from' offers great auto formatting BUT the list is long and currently there isn't a sort or select method for ease of use.
    To solve this, ideas are:
    1. a 'find/ search' window to search keywords within the list.
    2. sort the list by first letter, Ascending or Descending.
    3. Choose 'favourites' as per the Menu 'Letter" - 'Modify Letter Menu' keeping your most frequently used on your own list.
    4. a folder within folders set up, to + or - viewing groups.
    Anything other than hide and seek amongst 200 items on a long jumbled list.

    Hi JoAnn S,

    The option that we are referring to is.
    Open a Constituent,
    On the task bar at the top select Constituent,
    then Load Defaults from..... in the drop down menu.

    A new window will open up and you have ALL the defaults that have been created for that type of constituent (Individual and Org defaults lists are different)

    If you don't have many defaults created it's not a big problem, but when you have 100 or more it can be hard to find the one that you want.

    It would also be great if the text note within the default was longer than 240 spaces.

    Hi Blackboard - At a quick glance there seems to be many (70 odd) Votes on different entries all suggesting the same change, *** The ability to sort the load default list. **

    Other titles are:
    "Be able to Sort & Export Default Set Types"
    "Sorting default field sets"
    "Allow default actions to be ordered alphabetically"

    With over 200 entries on our list, action is needed urgently as this is one of the main dislikes from our general user.
