Office 365

Is there any plan in the works to get full integration between RE and Office 365? I believe more and more non profits are moving to this solution - especially since Microsoft just announced a FREE version for charities - and the lack of integration between the two makes getting my staff to do data entry a challenge. The automation that used to exist made it super easy to get folk to comply. Is this in the future??

Nevermind - found the article that states Outlook clients are supported and non-client options within O365 are not.  Read article here:  https://www.kb.blackbaud.com.au/articles/Article/67779

Did O365 and RE/FE ever get figured out?  Looking for compatibility for the two as we are migrating all clients to O365 now.

Is there an update with this?

We have lost our ability to use RE E-receipts because RE cannot set TLS as an option, and that is what Office 365 needs..  This is a costly, backwards step for us.  I am willing to do whatever I can to escalate this.  Wondering if it is time for an email to Mike G!

I know it's been some time since this idea was posted, but I wanted to let anyone subscribed to it know that I recently took over as the Raiser’s Edge Product Manager and I have been asked to lead an opportunity assessment around office productivity integrations and Office 365 is something I am interested in diving into deeper. If you are interested in participating in this analysis and have a few minutes to spare for a call around specific integration needs, please let me know in the comments and I'll reach out to you over email to get something set up.

    Thanks,

    Jarod

Yes! This is also a problem for our organization! We are in the midst of a corporate-wide rollout of Office 365, but our small Foundation has had to ask that we not be converted to 365 until we find a working solution. A compatibility fix is certainly needed.

With NXT and newer BB products, one might think that BB would want to keep up the trend and update the compatible office software. It doesn't make sense for new folks to come to an organization and find out they have to learn an OLD version of a software when they have been trained and schooled on the newest. Counterproductive.
