When we receive donations for future fiscal year appeals, it would be beneficial to have it where when we're entering the batch, the "deferred revenue" payment subtype automatically populates based on the timing of the event. For instance, if my fiscal year starts in July and we receive a donation for an october event now, I would like to be able to simply type in 2016Appeal name (or 2016 campaign name) and it automatically sets the gift as deferred revenue versus having to go into the gift and change the payment subtype to it.
