date consistent
It would be great if when entering the date in the different fields that they would all be consistent. If you enter 1/8 in bio2 then the date becomes 1/2008, however if you are in attributes or actions and you put in 1/8 it becomes 1/8/2013.
It would be great if they were all the way it is in attributes and actions.

This is simply a difference between real dates and fuzzy dates. There are some fields such as constituent codes to and from dates which allow for fuzzy dates - just a month and year or just a year. This is intentional and wanted. If I put in 1/8 into a fuzzy date it thinks I am adding a month and year (since month and day is not allowed in fuzzy dates). If I put 1/8 into a real date field it needs to convert it to a real date and most likely you are adding month/day so it adds the current year.
There is no way to change this behavior without eliminating fuzzy dates which I think may cause an uproar for those of us who want them in certain situations. You simply need to familiarize yourself with which dates are fuzzy dates and expect them to behave as such.
